Public Affairs & Communications Manager, Thailand
Workload allocation:

Roles & Responsibility:
Public Affairs & Partnerships 50%
- Support management and relevant units in developing advocacy strategies and implementation through speaking opportunities, memberships, etc.
- Build stakeholder mapping and engagement strategy, and deliver the appropriate message to each target, and define the right level of engagement (dialogue, influence, partnership)
- Manage and develop relationships with patient associations, external regulators, government officials, or charitable and community organizations.
- Initiate and implement social engagement activities.
- Support Business Units for partnership campaigns and activities
- Manage and lead external agencies in delivering projects on-time with high quality.
Internal & External Communications 50%
- Support management in employee communications through events, town halls, newsletters, and internal social media.
- Enhance internal communication channels and employee engagement activities through compelling messages, stories, and initiatives.
- Support roll-out/implementation of local, regional, and global strategies/initiatives and change management through effective integrated communication and engagement activities.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote and positively represent the organization through internal and external communication e.g., employer branding.
- Manage media relations engagement, providing media briefing and briefing documents for the company’s executives and spokespeople.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Commercial, Medical and HR to ensure strategic, consistent, and effective communications on key topics/issues/initiatives.
- Support crisis communications and issue management.
Relevant stakeholders:
- Internal contacts – Work closely with a cross-functional team, Asia Aria, Global Corporate Affairs, senior leadership team, and relevant functions
- External contacts - Manage external stakeholders and agencies to achieve work objectives
Qualification:
- University degree and above; Communications/Political Science related subject is a plus.
- An enthusiast with at least 7 years of professional experience in corporate communications or public affairs with a strong track record in delivering impactful strategic, integrated communications and partnerships strategies.
- Experience in working in the healthcare industry is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation skills, and business acumen/articulation, and interpersonal skills.
- Be a strategic thinker as well as a strong executor, as needed.
- Enjoys problem-solving, and interacting internally and externally.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail accompanied by the ability to multi-task skill.
- Excellent strategic organization skills: proven cross-functional management and leadership
- Good at presentations, event moderation and public speaking
- Entrepreneurial mindset; looks beyond and comfortable with uncertainty.
- Strong collaborative mindset & attitudes.
- Ability to innovate in an uncertain environment and ability to manage complexity.
- Ability to manage the end-to-end processes and long-term projects.
- Excellent English and Thai both written and spoken communication skills, writing, and editing of a high-standard article.
